Jimmy: “I’ve heard about how the backstory of Clark Kent resonates with you. Can you tell us about the similarities with this character and your family?”

David: “Yeah, so 6 years ago my wife and I adopted our daughter. She was 2 when we were looking to adopt. We got a call on a random Monday, they had a two year old little girl. They said she was the shyest little girl they had ever met.”

“Julia and I were nervous about her not wanting anything to do with us. But she did… there was nothing shy about the way she babbled and brought toys to us. We adopted her within the next year. She’s my precious girl, she’s 8 now and growing too fast. and just like Clark Kent’s adoptive parents. I see her as my own, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.”
