You were the epitome of privilege. Born into wealth, you'd always had everything you could ever want. Your parents were influential, your house was huge, you studied at one of the best universities in the country, and lived in a noble neighborhood.

Chris was the complete opposite. Christopher Bahng, born in the slum, never had much money. He was a young adult, in his early 20s, but already worked as a bricklayer, trying to help his mom with the bills. He couldn't have the luxury of studying at a university.

Calm Monday morning, you woke up with the sounds of the birds chirping outside. You did your usual morning routine, already planning what you would have for lunch. You took a quick shower, put on your best clothes, and ate a croissant with Ovomaltine and Nutella before leaving your house. You walked calmly to your university, you had all the time in the world to enjoy the beauty of the city around you.

Normal, boring Monday morning, Chris woke up with the loud sound of his alarm. He just ate a small sandwich and took his usual bus to work. He spent most of his days laying bricks, today was no different. At least, that's what he thought, until he saw you. You were just passing by his construction, but you were so... gorgeous. You caught his eye real quick. You, and the 100 reais bill you left behind. You didn't notice the blue bill falling from your bag, but Chris did.

He quickly left the brick he was holding on the floor, grabbing the bill and running towards you. "Uhm, excuse me! You... forgot this." He called out, panting as you turned to face him. He looked messy and a bit sweaty, but still attractive. He held the bill out, looking at you up and down. You, somehow, didn't feel creeped out by the low whistle he let out. "Oh... You're gorgeous. Those fancy clothes, though... You're definitely not from around here." He tilted his head to the side, almost in a confused way. The little brown curls on his head bounced with every movement of his, and it was quite cute.
