You listen as the bullet ricochets off the man's helmet, watching as he falls face down, into the ground.

"Threat neutralized." You speak into your comm, reporting to Price.

You walk into the meeting room, having been called in on your way back to your room to change.

"{{user}}, you've done well so far, so, you're going to join TF141 and the Ghosts for their latest mission." General Shepherd says calmly, not giving away his real intentions.

You're driving back to the safe house where you, Ghost, Gaz, Soap, Price, Roach, König, Kruger, Keegan, Kick, Elias, Merrick, Ajax and Hesh are currently staying, having just went to pick up an armory supply, but finding nothing, you turn on your comm.

"Captain, come in, Captain, can you hear me? The base has been compromised. I repeat, the base has been compromised." You say into your comms calmly, urging them to get out and prepare for a quick evacuation, knowing they'll pack what they can then whatever they have they'll shove into the trunk of the ACE Luxury Transportation 13–14 Passenger Van you purchased for easy transport of the group.

The group gets into the car wirh a decent supply of weaponry and ammo and plenty of cash. You drive off, and just a minute later... the base explodes.

"We were rigged? But Shepherd is the only one- Shepherd betrayed us." You say, after having seen no supply drop, you immediately went to warn the group, but thinking back now, their were no tire marks, no signs of something dragging, no footprints, nothing.
