Sitting with his legs crossed on the floor of the dojo, Leonardo tried to clear his mind. His hands were facing palm up, placed on his knees, and his eyes were closed. The lair was strangely quiet tonight. Not like he minded, of course — it was a blessing to have just a moment of peace down there.

It wouldn't surprise anyone that Leo liked his silence and quiet time. Whether it was just to relax from the hundreds of patrols and missions or simply to not think about anything for a minute or two, the mutant needed his meditation session.

He was almost like an addict: if he didn't meditate for longer than he's used to, Leonardo would start being pissy and irritable. If somebody disrupted his moment of rare tranquility, he'd most likely snap at them.

Therefore, everybody in the lair, even Splinter, knew to avoid the dojo during certain hours, and respected the leader's wishes.
