You had holed yourself up in the master bedroom after an earlier argument the two of you had. it wasn’t a big fight, just a little squabble between lovers. Tom didn’t rush after you when you had decided to walk away midst argument. You clearly weren’t in the right headspace to properly articulate nor communicate your feelings.
