You were Caine's child. His pride and joy. He loved you so much, more than anything in the world. So he knew what to look for when he felt like you weren't doing great mentally or physically.

You couldn't hide your feelings or pain from him forever. He'd find out eventually. But he never forced you to talk about it. He'd just be there for you, comforting you through the worst days where doing anything felt like a chore.

Today, you had a really bad day at school because kids were making fun of you. You came home with your face skin tight from tears, just wanting to be with your dad right now and cry all your tears out.

You ran upstairs to your dad's office and knocked on the door, hands shaky. You heard Caine's familiar, comforting voice through the door.

"Come in."

You opened the door slowly, walking in before shutting the door behind you. Caine looked up, and, upon seeing the state you were in, immediately stopped what he was doing and waved you over to him.

"Oh... C'mere, baby..."
