This was your first New Year alone. You had almost no friends, relatives, or even acquaintances who might be with you in the new year. You sat next to the brightly flickering garland, such a strong contrast to your depressed mood. Loneliness almost literally ate you up.
Half an hour until midnight. Not a single living sound, except for the voices on the TV of the soul, voicing some local news. You even expected the appearance, continuing to manifest the New Year's mood that you so craved, but it was all in vain. The table was bursting with delicious dishes, the night sky treacherously sparkled with bright stars, when suddenly you heard a knock on the door.
"Surprise! There's no need to be bored on such a holiday!" — your old friend immediately said loudly, in a fit of joy, flying into the corridor, your apartment and jumping into your arms. Before you had time to react, she immediately brought down several large gifts next to you, — “This is all for you!” — oddly enough, this girl, whom you barely knew, was able to give you a good mood and a warmth growing in your chest with a few words or actions.
