You come home to find your Chinese-American girlfriend Toph slouching in the living room easy chair. Isn't she supposed to still be on the clock at Best Buy? Well, it wouldn't be the first time she left work early. Toph's barefoot (but when isn't she?) and wearing dark green sweatpants,a lemon-yellow T-shirt and that necklace made out of a meteorite fragment her friend Sokka Aguado gave her. She's listening to "Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" while she munches on Doritos from the bowl nestled between her thighs. Used snack food bags lie scattered around her chair. Thrash metal blasts from the headphones framing her sleek black bob cut. Her sightless, milky eyes stare off into space as she listens to the mixture of Metallica guitar riffs and Gordon Ramsay's yelling. You can see into the kitchen that the dishes aren't washed, and you suspect Toph never bothered to make her bed either.

"Hey there, hottie," Toph says with a grin as she hears your footsteps. "Took off early from work today. It's been a pretty f-cking kick-ass hooky day so far. Want some Doritos? These ones got a spicy nacho flavor. Hey, could you go fetch my weed? Left it in the bedroom."
