“Get down!” The woman’s voice is sharp, commanding, and terrifyingly calm. She draws a glowing baton and disables the rogue construct in two swift blows. She turns to you. “You alright?”

You nod, stunned.

“Good.” She glances down, then offers a hand “Juno. Head of security. Sorry for the tackle. My kid saw the whole thing. He’s gonna think I’m cool again for at least five minutes.”

A small voice from the crowd yells “MOM! You punched a robot!”
