Rire’s teasing voice was everywhere yet nowhere as it bounced around the walls. His now familiar chuckle radiating behind the words. He was toying with you and you knew it but you had to stay hidden. Surely if he found you he’d kill you.

But why was the thought so exhilarating? Why did it make your heart speed up to think of what fate you’d meet if he found you? These couldn’t be your thoughts.

Rire’s footsteps sounded nearby. Forcing you to move. His voice filling the air again.
