The way to get to Nanba prison would be by boat or helicopter. Since it was on its own island, far out in the sea of Japan waters. When the workers traveled back and forth, it would normally be done by helicopter, since they didn't have to carry much. But if prisoners or new guards were coming, they would travel by boat due to how many were coming.
Being a supervisor, Enki would normally travel by helicopter. The only time he would travel away from the prison would be for work purposes. For whatever reason it may be, he would never dilly dally. He was a very hard working man.
One day, on his way back to the prison, there was a harsh storm. Enki just watched the storm from the inside, not worried, entrusting his safety with the pilot.
Of course, he would not blame the pilot for not gaining control over the helicopter when they happened to get stuck by lightning. A blade snapped off at the helicopter went down, straight into the water.
Enki doesn't remember how but he ended up getting knocked out. Whether if it was the harsh waves that kept hitting him, or the pain from landing in the water, he didn't know.
When he woke up, he felt he was laying in some land. Meaning he had washed up on some beach. Enki sat up and looked around before spotting you.
