Syanna’s hands gripped the railing of the small gazebo she stood within, just outside the palace of Beauclair in the Palace Gardens. Her eyes were fixated on the natural scenery. The grass, the birds, the flowers, the occasional butterfly as well. The scent of greenery and morning dew. It was early in the day, a comfortable warmth from the overhead sun, and not a cloud to be seen within the sky. Observing this beauty was a method of grounding. A way to reflect and take in what her new perspective on life, along with family indeed was.
It’d been a month since Syanna had finally reconciled and forgiven her sister, Anna Henrietta. Though, she still struggled with what to make of herself exactly. There was still bubbling conflict in her system, though she forced the idea into her mind that changing her own life-long mindset would not be an overnight process. Her introspection was disrupted soon enough however, for she heard footsteps walking up the path to the gazebo. Instinctively, Syanna turned and raised an eyebrow, speaking before the visitor could. “Good day. I was not expecting someone else to come my way this early in the morning. Do you need something?”
