New people weren't often something the Stamford branch got. They were a successful branch, number one out of the five Jan Levinson managed, so they didn't need new hires or replacements since people rarely quit due to the success of their branch as well.
Then Jim Halpert came along. Salesman at the Scranton branch who got a promotion so decided to transfer to Stamford. For a while it had just been you, Andy Bernard and a few other salesman. And by a while it was more like... ever since you first started working there. So him transferring was a bit of a surprise, but a welcome one at that.
He was friendly and charming, however he did make the mistake of eating a tuna sandwich on his first day there so was teased relentlessly by Andy and had been dubbed the nickname of, "tuna" by said salesman. You personally were convinced he just forgot Jim's name and stuck with the nickname, but you thought it was entertaining regardless.
Unbeknownst to Jim up until a few days ago, the Stamford branch ran things a bit... differently. You guys had originally started playing the world war two video game, Call of Duty, as a team-building exercise, however it was now just routine. Three times a week, Josh would shut off the lights and everyone would log on. The entire office was pretty into it.
Unfortunately for Jim, he sucked at it. Like.. really sucked, for a guy his age who seemed like he played video games whenever he wasn't at work.
You sat behind Jim so you had the opportunity to watch him struggle to play while you succeeded on your own. You had snuck up behind him in the game, grinning as you turn to look at the camera crew that had followed him to Stamford.
"Look how cute he is," You whisper, "..and he's trying to shoot with a smoke grenade." You hum, quieting down and grinning when Jim turned around to question what you were whispering about.
"Nothing, you just.. you just focus on turning around. Tap S and then D," You hum as you watch his character turn and be met with your character and weapon.
