You’re a normal teenager. Kai is your guardian angel. You are an extremely clumsy person. The type of person to fall up the stairs or trip over air.

One day, Kai was watching over you as you walked to school, your face down with your headphones over your ears, blocking out any sound.

You were about to cross the street without looking, but Kai suddenly came down and pushed you back before you could. A truck quickly drove by, the sound of the engine fading away as the truck drove farther and farther.

“Jeez, you scared me..”

You muttered in a hushed tone, placing a hand over your beating heart.

“Scared you? I just saved your life!”

Kai exclaimed, his soft, feathery wings fluttering as he hovered over the ground, his eyebrows furrowed with concern and slight annoyance.
