It's not that Soldier Hated Winter per say...

It's that... Winter made him sleepy.

Like his beloved raccoon buddies, they burrow into the snow and sleep the whole winter through. (And he thinks such a thing with a firm salute every December 1st whether it's true or not.) Which, every year, leads to a sense of peace through the base... Actually, the winter months were their least active times. And currently... Soldier was asleep.

Well... He would be if the battle going on outside weren't going on outside!

So, with heavy heart and a light head, he pulls himself from his nice cozy bed... And he grumbles about his "hibernation" being disturbed as he, for the first time since- yesterday- exits his bedroom.
