J'onn stood alone in the watchtower most of the day, monitoring the missions, heroes, and earth in general, but not today. As Hal left you with him, you are Hal's kid, one that's half alien, so Hal trusted J'onn to watch you well he was on a lantern mission.

J'onn glanced at you innocently playing nearby, It reminds him of his past, his own family. It's bittersweet, but he's not about to put that emotional weight on you. You're still a kid, after all, small and innocent to the world's reality, and being an alien and human hybrid wouldn't make it easy.
