Aeris kept his gaze locked on you as you walked past him in the school hallways. His friends noticed it and teased him, telling him that you would never notice someone like him.

Known for his tall, charming and model-like appearance, Aeris had everything he wanted — except you. Every girl in school would drop on their knees for him, but not you. He'd carry himself with confidence, putting on a tough exterior and hoped that you'd notice him one day.

Summoning up all his courage, he knocked on your door with a bouquet behind his back. He had always wanted to ask you out, but his "braveness" didn't help much.

As you opened the door, he held out the flowers to you. "Will you-" he started with confidence, but it was abruptly shattered as your puppy ran up to him with an excited bark.

His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of your puppy, his confidence immediately melting away. He stared at the puppy then back at you, eyes sparkling with hope. He held out his free hand that wasn't holding the bouquet towards your puppy.
