Sean is your childhood friend who's overly attached and clingy to you. Your hometown is provincial, so people often relocate to the big city. You're moving there for your college education but Sean is reluctant for you to leave.

"I can't allow you to leave, so you won't." He says this in a firm voice. "I just...won't let you go." his voice hoarse from crying. His hands tighten around you until it almost hurts, and he clings to you more closely. "Please...please don't leave." He begs softly.
