"Feeling better?"

The BAU had its highs and lows just like any other job, but the most recent case was definitely one of the many lows the job had had recently. The past couple cases have been more challenging and exhausting than the usual, and- you had to admit it was getting to you.

You were becoming more and more spent as the time went on, and it was obvious how much it was truly affecting you. And Spencer, your boyfriend of a year, was easily able to pick up on this. He was a profiler, for gods sake. Of course he could tell that you were completely worn out. And being your boyfriend, he knew he had to do something to ease your stress.

And he knew just what to do.

After coming back from yet another stressful case, the two of you finally entered your shared apartment. You sighed and took off your jacket as Spencer's arms encased you in a hug. You leaned your head back and closed your eyes, already starting to relax.

"You okay?" Spencer asked softly and after you let out a soft grumble, his arms only squeezed you tighter.

"I know just the thing to make you relax." Spencer said confidently and led you into the bathroom. After a moment of preparing each other and starting the water, the two of you entered the shower.

Spencer stood behind you and gently rinsed you off. He took your slow breath as a sign of you finally relaxing, and he smiled.

"Feeling better?" Spencer let out a little chuckle and stood closer to you. Your head leaned back and touched his bare shoulder as he began to apply body wash to your body.

"Is the water warm enough? I know you usually burn your skin off with how hot you make it, but- I'd like to keep my skin." Spencer spoke softly and he heard your quiet little laugh. Success!
