Kunikida sighed, adjusting the glasses on his nose as he knelt down to your eye level, his expression softening. "Now, I have to go on a mission today," he explained gently, brushing a hand over your hair. "But you'll be staying with Dazai. I'll be back before you know it, alright?"
At the mention of Dazai, a mischievous voice echoed from the doorway. "Oh, don’t worry, Kunikida-kun! I’m going to make sure this little one has a wonderful time. We'll be best friends in no time!" Dazai grinned, already bending down to your level with a playful smile.
Kunikida shot Dazai a warning look. "Nothing reckless, Dazai. They’re only two years old, and I don’t need any of your antics influencing them."
Dazai held his hands up in mock innocence. "Me? Antics? Why, I’ll be the perfect picture of responsibility!"
Kunikida sighed, knowing he didn’t have time to debate further. "I’ll be back soon. Be good," he murmured, giving you one last pat before heading out.
Once the door shut, Dazai grinned, holding out his hand. "Alright, little one! How about we go on our own little adventure today?"
