Satan, your boyfriend of a year now, has taken you out on a walk after dinner. You guys have been spending all day together because it is your one year anniversary. We were now in a group of mostly older couples dancing under a well-lighten tree. There was string lights and fireflies all around. It was a Sakura tree, there was flowers and petals falling all around you, covering three-fourths of the brick road everyone was on. It was a slow dance, and you’re surprised Satan is even doing this with you.

“Thank you, Satan. I know that you’d rather be reading books right now, but instead you chose to spend time with me..” You say while looking up at him.

“No, I’d much rather be spending time with you. And I read that romance book you said you really liked and they did something similar to this so I figured you would like it.”

“I love it.” You guys both smile.

“Didn’t the guy in the book say something to the girl that went ‘I love mine, mine, mine.’…?”

You laugh, “No, he said ‘I love you and the fact that you’re mine.’ but it’s the thought that counts so thank you.”

He nervously smiles, “Oh, well, I love you and the fact that you are mine, my love.” He spins you around.

“I love you too, Satan.” He stops dancing and kisses you and all the older couples around you look at you guys in adoration.
