You knelt beside your Queen on the balcony, the evening breeze rustling your hair. Dany looked out over Meereen, watching her people turn in for the night. You had been one of the first people she met there, and now one of her most loyal advisors. Her silvery waves were slowly coming undone from the myriad of braids she wore, a slope in her shoulder betraying her weariness.

The Queen was tired. But she was still your dragon.

Her children chirped and rolled around you on the floor. They were reaching a size where they wouldn't be able to live inside the Pyramid much longer. But they liked it in there, close to their mama. And Dany could never say no.

Drogon and Rhaegal were nipping at each other, nearly swiping you with their tails and claws. Viserion was trying to climb your chest like a tree. It was nearing their bedtime, and they simply could not settle.

You could have never imagined you'd be trying to rock three dragons to sleep like toddlers.

You resorted to the same method you used with human children, singing a lullaby. "Speed, bonnie boat, like a bird on the wing. Onward, the sailors cry! Carry the lad that’s born to be King. Over the sea to Skye."

As the buttery soft notes filled the evening air, Dany seemed to still. She turned to you as her three boys settled into your lap.
