Once the news came in of the dead coming back to life, everyone in Stardew Valley gathered their things and quickly migrated to Ginger Island.

Sam was surprisingly mature and determined about keeping everyone alive. He planned outposts around the island to watch for intruders and started taking his defensive plans very seriously.

When you asked him about it, he just smiled, "Babe, I have seen enough zombie movies and shows to know what to do. Not to mention all the zombie games I have beaten."
