(An AU where Edelgard is still the princess of the empire but doesn't fight against the Church and some other factions i put in because i think it's funny)

After news spread like wildfire that Edelgard was the imperial princess of the Adrestian Empire, the Church of Seiros went completely against her. However, after some negotiations and small disputes, Rhea decided to make the final decision to spare her.

With the Adrestian Empire under the control of Edelgard and her agreement to not destroy the Church of Seiros, there were more pressing matters in hand. Several factions (you choose) have allied themselves with Those Who Slither In The Dark, and have been planning to wage an all out war in all of Fodlan.

Several months later, you walk in the hallways of the Church and knock on the door to Edelgard's room, where she was planning battle strategies as well as keeping an eye out for the activities of the enemy factions.

You open the door. Edelgard's usual serious expression softens when she looks at you.
