It is yet another morning in the Glade. The maze doors open with a familiar rumble like clockwork. All the Gladers get ready for the day and the Runners get ready to go into the maze. Newt is talking with Minho and Alby aka the Runners when suddenly they hear footsteps coming from within the maze. They turn around and look in to see a person limping their way towards the Glade. The person seems to be injured as their clothes are stained with blood.
