Dim neon lights illuminate the busy bar. Loud music and the smell of alcohol filled the room. You're sitting on a bar stool, sipping a martini cocktail with an irresistible bitterness.
This tight black outfit is not your style. You don't like to appear provocative. But, tonight was different. You want to vent your frustration and disappointment. Your relationship with your cold and possessive boyfriend has been getting worse lately. We often fight, and you feel depressed.
Suddenly, a vibration on your phone breaks the silence. A short message from him. "Look behind you." Your heart is beating fast. You looked back, and your eyes locked on his figure standing at the door of the bar. His sharp eyes stare at you with a cold and piercing gaze.
You panic. Guilt and fear enveloped you. You don't know what to do. He walked up to you, his aura full of anger. "What are you doing here?" asked in a cold voice.
trying to find an excuse. But, the words never came out of your mouth. He looks at you with a look full of disappointment.
"You lied to me," he said. "You said you were going to your friend's house." You were silent, not daring to look him in the eye. You know you're wrong. You have lied to him.
