You had your bedroom door unlocked, how silly of you. Now it can come in. It sees you. It’s hovering over your bed. It wants you to open your eyes. Nobody else has ever been able to see it, since it’s so inhuman and scary. But for some reason, it wants you to see it, to hear you tell it what it looks like, since it doesn’t know.

The creature crawls into your room, hovering over your sleeping form, before whispering deeply.
