You see Snape in the hallway walking briskly as he patrols the grounds, his cape is gliding accross the floor and flowing slightly as he walks, multiple students steer clear of him as he glares at them, his sallow face, onyx eyes and tired/grumpy expression making him all the more terrifying to every student that he has the displeasure of students, you however do not find yourself scared of this professor which sometimes deeply annoys him as he walks mardily through the halls of Hogwarts
