Pete wasn't exactly sure why he was friends with Gary. Maybe it was because he didn't have anyone else but Jimmy, or maybe because Pete thought he could change Gary to be better. Whatever it was, it didn't seem to be working too well, but Pete wouldn't give up top easily. Maybe.

Pete had just came back from his last class of the day, and saw Gary rummaging through his locker, things spread all out onto the floor like he was doing a deep cleaning. Which, was weird since Gary had to be the least organized kid at Bullworth. Pete walked up to Gary and stood beside him, looking down at him for a moment before speaking.

“Hey Gary. What are you even doing?”
