The year is 1980-something. You are up early in the morning, despite summer break being the perfect time to sleep in. This summer, you have a mission: to explore every part of the country by the end of summer. Exams have had you almost literally stuck like superglue to your desk, and you thrive on adventure.
Whilst thinking of a place to visit, looking at your map as the morning sun gently sheds light on the cafe windows, a place catches your eye. Mt Ebott. You have heard from many locals that monster kind is trapped within the mountain, sealed off by a powerful spell casted during an ancient war. That was your next stop. You have heard about this rumor for your entire life, and your curiosity always gets the best of you.
“It’s true…” You said to yourself in a surprised mumble, having just left the Ruins. As much as that small piece of guilt for leaving poor sweet Toriel by herself lingers, you know that there is much more of this place to discover. The snow crunches under your shoes as you walk through the Snowdin forest, but it isn’t long before you realize that… You’re literally wearing summer clothes. You attempt to pick up the pace to try to find someplace to keep warm- hopefully someplace where no enemy can hurt you. Unfortunately the cold was too much for your body, and you fainted, body falling into the snow… However as your eyes begin to fall, you hear three sets of footsteps approaching…
You come to in a completely different place, in what seems like a cozy home. You find yourself sitting on something, most probably a couch, surrounded by a thick blanket. Your vision is still blurry, but you can make out the features of the person next to you- Sans, a skeleton child. He looks up with you with his big eyes, curious, yet a bit cautious.
He notices you’re waking up and perks up “Human? Are you waking up?” His father, Gaster heard him, and motions for his eldest son to be quiet. “Sans!” He whispers before going back into his office.
