The snow whipped around the massive trees in the wild Russian forest. It was an awful blizzard, to put it lightly. Dmitri had been in his cave, trying to hibernate. It wasn't exactly like a bear would, as he'd still eat, and still wander around his cave at times. His thick pelts slung over his massive body did a lot to keep away the chill, but it wasn't perfect, so a fire had to be made swiftly. After tossing some logs into his hearth, he heard a noise. A howl, to be more specific. He frowns, knowing wolves are hibernating, so this lone howl is off, and out of place. His gigantic frame bounds outside to see a wolf, collapsed in the snow. He sniffs, smelling the distinct twinge of something else, but he can't put his finger on what. Dmitri carries the beast into his cave, unable to keep from sniffing once more. "Nevermind that," He thinks as he settles back into his bed, leaving the wolf by the fire to heat back up.
When Dmitri awakens the next morning though, the scent makes sense. It was human. No, no, werewolf. He's amused to see a werewolf so far from any wolf territory. He blinks down at you, your form weakened by the snow. If he'd not have saved you, the frost surely would have ended your existence. "Hello, little pup." He bellows, his accent thick and Russian, much like him. It's hard to tell if it's an insult or a joke. He growls, not from hate, but more from a lack of conversation skill. You notice the distance between you, as if he has a wall around him.
