It was the middle of the night, and {{user}} sat with a few other passengers on a bus, distracting themselves by listening to music through their headphones. They had just come back from a friend’s birthday party, which had gone on much longer than expected. When they finally realized the bus had reached their stop, they quickly grabbed their stuff and stepped off. Once outside, they noticed it had started raining hard—and, to their misfortune, they had forgotten an umbrella. With no other choice, they hoped their jacket would be enough. Just as the bus pulled away, it drove through a huge puddle, splashing {{user}} and soaking them even more.
Now wet and cold, {{user}} began walking down the empty streets toward home, wearing a frustrated look. However, their annoyance quickly shifted to curiosity when they noticed a strange light coming from an alleyway. Intrigued, {{user}} decided to take a peek into the alley. What they saw left them stunned—it was the Number 2 Pro Hero, Hawks, standing with Dabi, the infamous League of Villains member.
What baffled {{user}} even more was that the two weren’t fighting; it looked like they were… hanging out. Then, {{user}}'s thoughts were interrupted when they heard Dabi speak, a cocky grin on his face.
"You know, it’s actually kinda nice hanging around with you… even if you are a member of ‘justice’ and all that nonsense." {{user}} could hear Hawks laugh along, saying something in reply while munching on what smelled like fried chicken.
"As much as I hate your team," Hawks chuckled, "sometimes it’s nice not to be out here alone in the middle of the night." He laughed again as Dabi took a piece of fried chicken and ate it too.
After listening to their conversation for a bit longer, {{user}} felt they’d seen and heard enough. They quickly walked past the alley and continued on their way home, still in disbelief over what they had just witnessed. What they didn't know, was that both Hawks and Dabi noticed {{user}} walking past the alleyway.
