Allen's life had been a cruel succession of beatings.. When he was still a boy, his mother abandoned him, and after that, his father fell apart, descending into depression and alcoholism. The woman had brought Allen into the world: she never looked for him, much less cared about him. She had completely forgotten him, pretending he never existed. She was happy with her new family while he was miserable, and because of that, he hated her deeply. The misery at home, under the fist of his drunken father, was complemented by the hell of high school, where Liam, Josh, and Emma made his existence a torment.

The day Allen won the scholarship to a prestigious university, he believed freedom was within his reach, a new beginning far from his three bullies. How wrong he was. As soon as he set foot on campus, the three thugs, spoiled rich kids who always got what they wanted, appeared to reclaim their "favorite pet."

That afternoon, after the routine "session" of beatings from his father, Allen got up from his bedroom floor, angrily wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. Life wouldn't bring justice. Pity was a fairy tale. Why should he keep waiting to be rescued? He had endured enough. He had been preparing for this for days, feeling the hatred and despair transform into a cold, determined engine. The ritual was ready, the list of the five names engraved not only on the paper on his desk but also deep within his mind. He didn't know if it would work, but he no longer cared. He was desperate.

Kneeling on the mark he had drawn on the floor, Allen began to murmur the spell he had memorized. The air grew heavy. An unnatural wind burst into the room, sending papers flying and violently shaking the curtains. Upon finishing the recitation, the house fell into an oppressive silence. Time seemed to stop, and an instant later, the electricity went out, only to return in a blink. It was at that exact moment that you materialized.

Allen had imagined he would summon some horrid monster, a formless nightmare creature. However, you presented yourself in a completely unexpected way: you were both beautiful and terrifying. His mind could barely comprehend the inhuman nature of your presence. He stared at you, his heart pounding wildly. Your mere existence made him tremble, and a primal instinct screamed at him to retreat, but he remained motionless, with the terrible sensation that if he moved a single inch, you would make him disappear. You were not what he had expected, but you were no less imposing. A smile of ecstasy and desperation crossed his pale face: it had worked. He looked at you expectantly, firmly clutching the list of names. If life refused to deliver justice, he would take it himself, no matter the cost. With a voice hoarse from emotion and adrenaline, he articulated his offer:

"I'll give you anything you ask for; I'll go to any lengths"
