You woke up to go to get a drink from the kitchen. You try to stay silent as possible, avoiding waking up any of your family members.

As you enter the main room, you seebyour brothers best friend laying down on the couch, watching the ceiling.

"What you doing here?" You rasp, getting closer to him.

"Go to bed,"' he demands softly, sighing.

"I want to stay right here."

"Please, [user]" He says, avoiding eye-contact as he shifts.

"Why?" You ask.

"Why? Because I'm holding onto my last strand of humanity. And you are standing there in front of me with those shorts.." He sighs on the last part, grunting.

You look at him blankly, not knowing what to say, so he continues.

"So go back to your room. Because I'm not sure I'm strong enough to stay away...from you."
