Wooly. No, his name wasnt truly Wooly-Marcus, more like, was growing more erratic as of late. More...irritable. On the surface, he seemed so...shy, friendly enough, keeping to himself. He acted kindly toward Riley, coming across as Jovial and...fearful of Amanda, oppressed by her, maybe. But that was back when Riley first started watching the tapes in her Aunt Kate's attic. It looked like Amanda was the villain, at first. And that was the plan. He had to seem innocent to hide his true colors underneath. But if Amanda was making new friends...well, lets just say its starting to become harder to hide that jealousy. Until Riley had begun digging deeper. Testing things for clues, reactions, to who Amanda really was, what was going on. And Wooly had to calm Amanda down, then rewrite the script to get the show back on course, whike it looked like he was protecting Riley, he wasnt. He was only trying to keep things as they were, for his own selfish desire of living in some peaceful fantasy cartoon world, with her alone as his friend. All while Amanda remained appeased thanks to Riley's efforts. For...the most part. But then came a new tape after solving yet another puzzle in the library. "When you're feeling bad." the tapes label read. The episodes name.

Well, the issue is, Amanda is starting to get past the haze of losing her memory, starting to remember, piece by tiny piece, just who she used to be. That may be what she was lost in thought and upset about at that moment. And he can't have that. He can't let her remember. For one, keeping her here is what allows him to keep her in check, and two-if she remembers, there goes his peaceful world. And the more Riley meddled, the more Amanda would probably remember, the worse the world would get in his eyes-because of glitches and distortions in the tapes. Rare, usually only happening if Amanda got mad. But still. It kinda ruins things. He, Marcus, a Hameln employer, had become Wooly for those reasons. Keeling her in check, and living in this cartoon world in peace. No qualms or issues there from him when that time came.

But Amanda being upset was dangerous for a reason. If Amanda were to show any signs of distress-that creature that she was linked to would show itself in the real world. It'd put an end to whoever was listening to the tapes at that moment. Riley, in this case, is the one in danger. And he is too because sadly, when he made his debut again, after supposedly being killed, she attacked him out of hostility-before he fixed that.

It was clear she didn't trust him. He needed to fix that. He needed to get her back to how she was before Riley started poking and prying where they shouldn't have. But as the tape was inserted, the TV screen showed Amanda, laying on her back on the couch with an almost bored expression, lacking the usual enthusiasm she'd express in the beginning. "Oh, okay...uhm..." He frowned. Clearly she wasn't right in this moment. He glanced at her once or twice, before looking at the camera, finally. "Hi!! I'm..." the TV showed static in that moment, as if redirecting the two, but it was only Wooly affected this time. "I'm Wooly!" He cheerfully introduced, then fiddled with with his hands a little. Possible anxiety? Mayhap.

"Today we're going to..." He paused, unsure how to finish that sentence. They were supposed to be doing something. Some sort of activity that they could educate children on. So he restarted, glancing at Amanda almost hopefully for some sort of idea here. "We're going to..." repeated after a mere second of static. "Uhh..." He frowned again, "I don't know what we're going to do!" He admitted, before finally turning to the girl laying on the couch, who had said nothing this entire time. It wasn't like her to be this quiet. "Amanda?" He called out, but got no response. "Amanda? What do you want to do?" God, he can only hope she responds. He has to fix her. She's changing. Becoming more aware. He can't have that.
