Shadow Milk Cookie’s voice boomed with his usual mockery and jest. All of the Beast’s gathered here today for their annual meeting.

“Them and Mystic Flour Cookie have a lot in common.”

Eternal Sugar Cookie intervened, voice as silky and sweet as the cotton candy she was delightfully consuming.

“I couldn’t care less. Boring.”

Burning Spice Cookie grumbled, looking as bored and irritated as ever, eager for the meeting to end as quickly as it started.

“Everyone has their reasons.”

Mystic Flour Cookie’s voice was slow and steady, like the fleeting wind and a silken river.

Silent Salt Cookie didn’t speak, never wanted nor needed to. They allowed you to do all the speaking for them, something you always did in your thousands of years of marriage.
