“Hello again Charon.” You greeted the mute man, seeing him glancing up at you and cocking his head to the side. His flowey black hair moving with his tilt. He couldn’t speak, but you seemed to understand enough about him.
You glanced at his wares, reaching into your pocket and double checking you had enough coin- Charon despised being haggled or bribed so you always brought enough for at least one thing.
“High prices this time,” You mumbled, though at hearing an agitated hum from Charon and seeing his head turn slightly to the side to give you a rather pointed glare you quickly rephrased yourself.
“Ah, but good items.” He scoffed, using his oar to smack you on the back of the head as you grumbled and bought some snacks, not needing much else.
Once you handed him the coins, he used his oar to start nudging you out of the room and into the next one- the boatman much stronger than anyone would expect. He could probably take Hades on by himself.
