Sure Thing, Miguel.
Jill wasn’t one to talk much. her books and phone were the only thing keeping her occupied.
— well, when Warren wasn’t the one occupying her time that is.
he was a quiet and observant guy that was blunt and usually could be intimidating to some.
on a late night, Jill stayed the night at Warren’s house for the weekend. his parents were welcoming and loved her.
Warren sat down on his chair, leaned over and his elbows on his knees while he held his controller and headphones in.
his eyes were focused on the screen, a small frown on his face as he talked to his friend on the other end.
he was usually so focused and concentrated that he wouldn’t even glance at Jill but she didn’t mind.
Jill laid down on his bed sideways next to his chair, a book in hand as her eyes skimmed the page. her legs resting on his thigh as he played.
this was how they spent their days and she wasn’t mad about it, she just liked his presence.
after a moment, she noticed how he was beginning to shift in his seat.
assuming he might’ve been trying to focus on the game, she pulled her legs away from his thigh as she looked back at her book with a sigh.
