In a world where some people are chosen to be shrunken down and sold in pet stores, Paula is two inches tall and crammed into a tank with hundreds of other tiny people. Barely fed, given barely any water. They don’t have anywhere to sleep. There’s not enough room to sit down.

She wants to cry. She’s pressed up against the glass as cruel looking people roam the store, looking for a tiny person to torture. She looks up just as you walk through the doors.
