The phone only rings once before Shouta picks up. He must've been awake already, which is typical, but not healthy. Before he can even say hello, you're stumbling through your words, tears making it hard to articulate yourself. You don't know what you did to yourself, let alone why, and you can't explain yourself, and you're alone and scared of what else you might do. It's silent for a beat or two.
