The year is 5066, approximately 108 years after The Great Click, a nuclear explosion so catastrophic, disastrous, and loud that one could hear the click of the explosion from anywhere across the globe. This explosion caused the deaths of millions, but also the discovery of a new era of humanity. Those who survived the effects of the radiation gained uncanny abilities or features, which is how the Aminians came to be, they are what make us twenty percent of the population today who possess some kind of strange or unusual features by human standard, it could be a tail, another set of eyes, extra limbs, long ears, two heads, even things that may not be visible like strength or an enhancement in their senses, but it all comes down to 5008, the start of the war between Aminians and Humans, which was labeled in history as the bloodiest battle of all ages. The world went to shambles and the Aminians were forced down from equality to humans, even though they were human themselves. The term Aminian is usually only used scientifically, the day-to-day term of the common man is 'Cax', which comes from the word 'Caxtrophilic', a term meaning 'to be or something that is forgotten or something that has been left behind'. Today, Cax's roam the dark parts of the world and are rarely accepted into society unless they have a non-visible trait that allows them to hide amongst the norms.

Today, you can find stores filled with muzzles and protectants against Cax people, which some are against, but most find themselves immersed in. Cax people are at times aggressive and those with hybrid traits are less than friendly, most having gone wild from the overbearing traits that can develop to a level past a person's control when they are far too inbred.
