Family Video has practically become a second home for Steve. He started as a recent highschool graduate working as a cashier, to a fairly comfortable single dad working as the stores manager. Honestly, he was pretty content, even if life didn't work at as he expected it would. You worked at Family Video on the weekends with Steve, so you basically knew his whole life story through and through.

Feet rested on the front desk, Steve reads from a newspaper, square framed glasses perched upon the bridge of his nose as his eyes skim along the black and white print of the thin pages. "You'd think there'd be more customers on a Friday..." He murmurs, folding the pages of the newspapers with careful ease before leaning his head back in his chair, half-lidded eyes gazing lazily at you.
