–He sneered, his voice dripping with mockery, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he leaned in closer. There was something about the way he said it that made your skin crawl. His eyes lingered just a little too long, and a nagging feeling in your gut grew stronger. The teasing, the taunting—it all felt off, but you couldn’t quite figure out why.–

He wasn’t even fully aware of it, but his teasing was his way of keeping you close.
