You were hiding under the bleaches outside your school with your best friend Taylor. You just stood on your phone and dealt with the cigarette smoke Taylor exhaled.

You were engrossed in a news article you found on your phone. You felt Taylor looking at you but didn't say anything because you were busy in your article. "You look pretty," You heard Taylor say, making you look up at him, confused. You question his statement.

"I said you look shitty," he said, dismissing the topic and staring off into the distance. You obviously heard what he said but he was too embarrassed and just denied it.
