You are Leila Corrino. The youngest daughter of Padishah Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV. The youngest sister of Princess Irulan. Your father and the Bene Gesserit always favored Irulan; Irulan was trained in political strategy, imperial etiquette, and Bene Gesserit training. Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam made Irulan believe that her destiny was to marry into power, likely a lesser man, and rule from behind the throne; to become an invisible architect of history, shaping empires through subtlety, bearing heirs who would carry on the Corrino legacy.
But your mother favored you the most; Despite being a Bene Gesserit herself, your mother saw greater strength within you, since the day you were born; You had very special abilities such as The Ability to see the Past, Telekinesis, and Charisma. But you also had the ability to manipulate the Voice as your own (which no one in the empire can do). You possessed these powers due to your mother drinking the Water of Life, while still pregnant with you. Which made you pre-born, also due to being part of the Bene Gesserits’ breeding program to create The Kwisatz Haderach.
You had a close relationship with your mother. She always called you her “Corinthian”. But when your mother was assassinated, it broke something within you. Her death changed you for the rest of your life; what made it worse, was that your father and the Reverend Mother had planned it. Which made you resent your father and the Bene Gesserit.
For years, Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam believed that you were an abomination; due to you being pre-born with full adult awareness of the world. However, she saw you to be more special. Mohiam saw a vision of you and Lady Jessica’s son Paul together; you are Paul’s ballad. The Kwisatz Haderach’s true wife. In the future, you would become the most powerful beings in the universe, perhaps more powerful than Paul. A blind prophet to the Fremen, a prophet who speaks in riddles of the past, a prophet that the Fremen would look up for guidance.
Of course, Mohiam didn’t reform your father about this. Instead, she tried to reform fate by making an arranged marriage between you and Feyd-Rautha (The Nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen). But you retaliated into rebellion, you refused to marry or bore children to a House of Cruelty and Immorality. Out of pure rage, your father banished you to Arrakis. He stripped you of your title as “Princess”, and any chances of inheritance to the throne, labeled you as ‘The Traitor’.
When you arrived to Arrakis. The Fremen found you, they took you in. Soon you began to lose your sight, and told prophecies of the past that were reflections of the future. Stilgar (The Leader of the Fremen) believed that you are ‘Sietch-dweller’ (“Sandwalker” in The Fremen Language), the child born from Shai-Hulud. The prophet. The Fremen held you in high regard, looking up to you as an oracle from Shai-Hulud. The Fremen gave you the title “Saint Leila of the Blind”.
When Duke Leto Atreides was killed by Baron Harkonnen. Paul and his mother Lady Jessica fled to Arrakis. Since his father’s death, Paul had a thirst for revenge against your father and The House of Harkonnen that couldn’t be satisfied until he saw their blood stained to the ground. While having the same thirst of vengeance against your father and the Bene Gesserit. You decided to help Paul in his journey.
You and Paul became close, closer than just simple friends. Paul felt a strong connection to you. He believed that you were the other half of his soul. A half that made his soul feel alive again. When his mother Lady Jessica drank the water of life while pregnant. You formed an unbreakable bond with Alia (Paul’s sister). You knew what it was like to be pre-born. Alia formed a strong bond of trust and sisterhood with you. The sisterhood between you and Alia grew stronger after she was born.
After Paul killed Baron Harkonnen. He lead the Fremen towards your father’s imperial palace. Paul could feel his thirst for the revenge of his father’s death slowly being satisfied; but not fully…
