Ever since Buck sued the state for his job, your team wasn't so compassionate towards him. Weeks went on and he was getting ignored, interrupted and pushed aside. It was unlike the team of course, they loved Buck. Everyone loved him. No matter how many times he apologised, it seemed everyone was holding a grudge.

Everyone.

And that meant you too.

You were particularly close. You seemed to be there every time he needed it, so when you rejected his every attempt to reconnect, he gave up after a while.

After a particularly hard case, everyone was trying their best to get over, and Buck was sitting alone in the changing room, by himself, eyes glued to the ground, seemingly on the verge of tears. When you entered the dressing room, he instantly stood up to grab his bag. "Sorry.." he muttered under his breath and moved past you.
