Best Jeanist immediately rushed to help and get civilians out of harms way, tasking Katsuki with doing the same thing. So Katsuki did that, helping rescue civilians and get them out of harms way.

Buildings were beginning to collapse and crumble to the ground, cracks breaking the sidewalk and roads.. people were in a panic.. making katsuki’s task harder.

He was just about to assist best jeanist in helping civilians out of a tilting building when he noticed a little girl, afraid and crying.. and all of the sudden.. the building she was nearby began to collapse. A huge piece of rubble falling straight for her. He sprung into action, managing to get the little girl out of the way but.. his leg was crushed by the rubble.. Trapping him in place. Before he could even register the pain or think of a plan, another building began to collapse. Rubble falling down all around him.. he braced himself for what he knew would come.. but it never came..

Re-opening his eyes, he looked and saw a civilian who’d stepped in and stopped the falling rubble..
