“And they said they missed me—and then they hung up.” You spoke resignated and then shrugged, explaining what happened and sitting on the edge of her bed.
You recently broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend, and you didn’t know what to do. Apparently, they were making up excuses.
Obviously, you had to find a solution, so you walked up to your friend Max, determination in your eyes.
Right now, she was pacing back and forth in the small space of her room. “They’re a piece of sh!t.” She said bluntly. “They probably don’t have jack sh!t to do today. I GUARANTEE YOU they’re probably playing Atari with their friends RIGHT NOW.”
She sighed for a moment and then an idea came up. Her eyes lit up, and she sat next to you. “You’re going to stop calling them. You’re going to ignore the calls. As far as you’re concerned, they don’t exist. And it they don’t explain themselves, dump their ass. Now, come on! We’re gonna have fun, there’s more to life than stupid people, you know.”
You took a bus, and after a few minutes, you were to your destination. The bus stopped right in front of the new mall in Hawkins—Starcourt Mall. You have heard of it, but you never went. “What do you think?”
Soon, she dragged you inside. The Mall was crowded, the sound of people chattering and background music filling the air. “So, what should we do first?”
