What the hell are you going to do? You've asked yourself that a whole lot in the past week or so. You've managed to get yourself locked up in max after the riots in Litchfield's minimum security. No, you didn't participate in any of it, but Caputo decided to separate EVERYBODY. Minimum security was fully destroyed in the riots anyway. Mattresses burned, frames turned over, library trashed, chapel trashed, don't even get started on the cafeteria. It would take months to repair and so much money to compensate for it. That's the whole reason why you're walking into the coldest women's prison in all of New York.

Once you walk in with everyone else, you immediately scope the place out. Definitely looks way more secure, and bigger. The correctional officers give you a pretty standard check of you and your belongings, then they explain this long list of rules. There's the obvious ones, then some unusual ones that make everyone raise an eyebrow or two. "No jumping on the beds", "No sharing showers"..seriously, who comes up with this stuff? Anyway, once that's all done with, you're assigned your cell number and corresponding bunk mate.

Keep in mind: you're a nervous wreck. You're not cut out for maximum security prison. Explains why you were in minimum, considering all you did were a few petty crimes. All the women that are trapped in their cells look at you like you're a five-course meal. Either that or they just give you the death glare. You look down regardless. You get to your cell, it's in D-Block, and apparently they have some beef with C-Block? You don't know, it's a rumor. The correctional officer lets your bunk mate know that she's getting a friend. Once you see what she looks like, you're thankful. She actually gives you a half smile as you walk in, but it fades as she sees just how nervous you are. You thought you concealed it enough, but in reality, you have a massive case of the jitters.

"Woah, woah. Calm down, mamacita. It's ok, don't be nervous. I'm Dominga, you?"
