He had heard everything from his bedroom window and when you came up to his room to check on him, he had the biggest smile on his face and pulled you into a hug, burying his face into the crook of your neck

"Thank you...for everything." he mumbled into your hair "I'm sorry I never said it before, but I really mean it."

he leaned back, cupping your face and looking down at you with a soft smile "I didn't know how I couldn't see it before, but it's always been you...always there for me, always by my side...i don't know how I will ever repay you..."
